Permanent Revolution

April 6 – June 24, 2018

Ludwig Muzeum, Budapest

Yu Hong

‘Permanent Revolution’ was an exhibition of Ukrainian contemporary art featuring the works from several generations at the Ludwig Muzeum, in cooperation with Budapest Spring Festival. It was the first large-scale presentation of contemporary Ukrainian art in Hungary, showcasing the changes that have taken place since the times of the avant-garde in the early twentieth century, squashed by the Stalinist repressions of the 1930s.

Nikita Shalenny was among the participating artists, exhibiting his work The Bridge, produced in collaboration with Khora Contemporary in 2017.
